One of the larger projects we have been working on is this large cow loafing shed prepared with pine woodchips. The happy cows are moving in this week. We are all very interested to see how the system performs and the expectation is the cows will be more comfortable and the farm will be more efficient. Cows will be rotated through the loafing shed and this will save pugging in the paddocks, 10% saving on pasture and less energy expended by cows walking.
